I have a brand new Toyota 4Runner trd orp. So there is no issue with the vehicle. Once mounted, the compressor and mount rattled so bad I thought something was wrong with my truck. After several different potential solutions, I couldn’t fix the problem. I’m 50 years old with a pretty extensive background in vehicle custom action and mechanical work. The only way I can see this working is a weld in option. I have several friends with the arb compressor setup. It’s much nicer, and the mount is 1000 times better. I would return every single thing I purchased from thors if it wasn’t for their terrible return policy. So I will have the remaining items for sell online. I learned a lesson so the rest of you don’t have to. Save up a little more money and buy a better brand. Thank me later

1) A 90 day return policy which clearly states: To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned with all components that were included in the order. Your item must also be free of wear/tear, any cosmetic defects and in good working order.

In order to fulfill the requirements of a warranty replacement or warranty refund, the customer must provide physical evidence that the product meets the requirements to be covered under warranty. In order to make this determination, supporting physical evidence must be provided by the customer to Thor’s Lightning.
In your case, Eric – our customer service team requested several times that you send photos and/or videos of the mount installed in your vehicle. This was so we could reasonably assess the issue(s) you were experiencing, and offer potential solutions/fixes. However, no photos or video were provided to our team. Instead, you made it very clear that you ‘tried every possible solution’ and would not send photos or video evidence. Given we, Thor’s Lightning, designed and engineered this mount and are the experts on this product, it is quite reasonable to think that we could offer a solution. Our team has been selling this mount successfully and without issue and would have loved an opportunity to gain more insight if there was something that could be changed or tweaked on this product to better suit our customer’s needs.
Instead, our offers to assist you were refused…and we received a beat up, damaged product back to our warehouse.

Eric, Our Return Policy and Warranty Replacement Policy are actually quite reasonable. It’s simple: If a customer refuses assistance and does not comply with company requests, policies, and procedures, and sends back a damaged product that can no longer be sold, then a restocking fee will be charged.
This is a great setup. Those are long enough my full size truck. The chucks have good covers and the chucks fit nicely on the valve stems without leaking. The hoses are very flexible and easy to manage. The velcro hose organizers are a big help. Sadly there's only covers for the air chucks. Be careful not to allow dirt to get in the unprotected air fittings on the manifold and hose ends.
This is a great compressor. This is the second one I've purchased so I could have one for my truck without having to grab the one from my Jeep. It provides lots of air and it does it quickly. I highly recommend this compressor. Set it and forget it. My only complaint is the air Chuck that comes on the long hose. It's difficult to attach without leaks. I ordered a 90° fitting from Amazon and a Thor's lightning air Chuck to replace that crappy little fitting that comes with it. Now it works as well as their four-way hose setup. The 90° fitting makes it easier to attach to the valve stem. I only wish that this was the original configuration. Four stars instead of five.
