After some supply chain struggles and order issues… TL worked with me to make sure I was able to have this beast of a compressor. Looks fantastic and very well packaged. It’s not the wheeling season for me right now… but this will get a workout this upcoming spring/summer.
Works great! I installed the Ironman 4x4 Compressor (identical to smittybilt SB2781) and it fits perfectly. It was difficult to reach some of the bolts for mounting the compressor but otherwise a super simple install and worth every penny!
I wanted to review this product after we used it. My husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the quality and speed. Also, the customer service was great. We are glad we waited for the Jeep compressor and air hoses. Thank you!

I chose the passenger side mount for my wrangler JKU. That worked best for me. One suggestion for the installation is to bolt your compressor to the mount before installing in the Jeep otherwise there’s not much room to work on it. I really like the convenience of having the a permanent mount for the compressor.
This has truly been a game changer for me. It works phenomenally and has dramatically improved my deflating and airing up on trails. Now, I don’t worry about holding anyone up to hit the trails. One note of caution… after airing up, the manifold will be very hot. So handle with care.

I haven’t tried it on my 35 inch tires yet but as far as airing up the tires on my son’s Honda pilot, it takes no time at all. It was simple to set the psi on the compressor and just let it do what it’s supposed to. I verified the tire pressure with my digital gauge after and it seemed to be within .1 psi of what I set it at. The hose and connector qualities are what I expect from a good system.
I have the total control air compressor and it is awesome. I recently purchased the 4 tire air inflator system and it has been absolutely a great combo. This is such a great package deal. I can deflate in record time and inflate so quickly that I’m back on the road before I know it. Everything works as advertised and I cutting be happier.

The compressor and the hoses seem to be top quality, I believe that the noise is roughly the same of my previous compressor that was a quarter of the size, and how helpful the service was in picking out the compressor package was top-notch.

I am very happy with this little unit. Works great, very fast recovery, quiet operation, compact size, and very well made. I installed mine into my truck with an air storage tank attached, and it runs the systems (air horns, air bags, small air tools on occasion) perfectly with very fast recovery. Very well worth the cost of this unit. I’m very pleased with it, and the customer service at Thor’s Lightning.
